Homecare Assistant
Scotia Care is a family run Home Care provider in the Angus region. We are looking for compassionate, caring, understanding and reliable candidates to add to our excellent team of care at home experts. We are seeking candidates throughout Angus.
We do not require candidates to have previous experience, we provide all our staff with the necessary training and support to excel, with opportunities for further training and development. Equally, we would welcome candidates with previous care experience who are committed to providing quality, person-centred care to our Service Users.
Duties are wide ranging depending on each person’s individual needs and wants, including personal care, meal preparation, domestic support, companionship and medical support. Each person has individual needs and personal outcomes, therefore duties will vary.
Scotia Care can offer flexible working hours, Monday to Sunday, with training and development opportunities for those looking to progress their career. Scotia Care are Living Wage Scotland Accredited, therefore the current rate we are paying our Home Care Assistants is £10.90 per hour.
Candidates with a full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle are preferred, and we offer a mileage allowance.
Successful candidates will be required to be a member of the PVG scheme.
